The staff here was always friendly and welcoming; we booked a twin/double room with a private bathroom.

This place deserves more than 5 stars, it has en suite rooms and serves delicious and incredible breakfast. The employees are all excellent! There is plenty of excellent food for breakfast.

I greatly enjoyed having breakfast in the garden. The staff was excellent, some of them especially. The location of this peaceful and fantastic hotel was nice, to the Yorkshire coast from Whitby to Bridlington. And it was also just next door to Scalby and Scarborough, and local attractions.

The breakfast here was fantastic, the service was excellent, and I really liked having a room with a private bathroom; overall, everything was exceptional and I would definitely come back again.

holly croft was even better than our previous stay in scarborough! the hotel had everything we needed, from thoughtful bathroom essentials to a snooker room. great service, delicious food, and lovely owners who made us feel right at home. the location was perfect for exploring yorkshire's beautiful hills. highly recommend it!

The location was perfect, just a short distance from the beautiful coast but away from the touristy areas. The house itself was beautiful, with lovely gardens to relax in. The rooms were clean and felt like a 5-star accommodation. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, giving helpful tips for places to visit. The breakfast was absolutely top-class, with a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh fruit options.

Parking could be an issue if there were more cars than available spaces.

The location was perfect for us. It was away from the bustling waterfront but still only a short drive away. It offered a quiet and private atmosphere. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the quality of the furnishings.- The separate lounge facing the garden was a lovely addition. It provided a peaceful space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

One thing that could have been improved was the level of service. While the hosts were friendly and welcoming, there were times when we felt they could have been more attentive to our needs.

The venue exudes luxury with its exclusive amenities and elegant decor. the private facilities were top notch, with a spacious room and beautiful view. the outstanding service by competent staff is commendable. the location advantage is perfect for a peaceful getaway.

The hotel's location on the outskirts of this city allowed me to enjoy the tranquility of the well-kept garden and sit in the evening sun. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional, and the hotel facilities met all my needs. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of fresh fruits and homemade conserves. The staff was incredibly friendly and made my stay feel special.

For us, it was ideal.

The rooms were spacious and clean. the breakfast was good and there were many options to choose from. the location was perfect as it was close to the city center and there were many shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The noise from the street and the surrounding area was unbearable. the windows and walls were not soundproofed and therefore, it was difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The B&B was beautifully decorated and very clean.

The room at Holly Croft was incredible. The private bathroom had separate bathtubs and showers, making it so convenient. And I have to say, the bathrobes and slippers just added that extra touch of luxury. I felt like a superstar!

Personally, I didn't really use the separate bathtubs. I guess I'm just more of a shower person.
